We are a family-operated food and hospitality management company, started over 25 years ago by Ruoshu Chen and Sharon Zhao. First generation immigrants to the U.S., Ruoshu and Sharon’s first business was a Chinese restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They grew the business into over twenty chains across the Southwest region of the U.S. Their flagship restaurant, Taste of China, continues to delight their lifelong customers in San Marcos, TX.

Ruoshu and Sharon’s first foray into hospitality began in 2008 with a humble Wyndham property in Texarkana, Texas. Its location on Hampton Road inspired our name: TA Hampton Group. We opened our second property, Sleep Inn & Suites in Austin in 2014, and are hard at work opening a third.

We have a rich history as hands-on owner-operators who understand the day-to-day demands of operating a hotel. We are laser-focused on delighting our guests, and will manage any of our clients’ properties as if they were our own.
